ABSOLUTELY INCREDIBLE NEWS, TOWN FANS!

They did it! Last weekend Ipswich Town were promoted back to the Premier League at the first attempt. It was great to see the town so positive and happy and lots of you at the parade on Monday.

We celebrated on Tuesday in true Sidegate style by holding a ‘Blue Day’. Thank you to everyone who took part it was amazing to see so much support.

The achievements of the football team are important, of course, but also recognising the impact of the team’s success on the town itself and the sense of joy and belonging this fosters is just as important: there is only one professional football team in our town and indeed our county for us to unite behind!

Let’s hope there are more reasons to celebrate our brilliant town and county in the future!
