SEU

The Special Education Units (SEU) at Sidegate Primary provide a nurturing, inclusive, supportive environment where every child can thrive.

We understand that every child is unique, and we work closely with families, professionals, and the Local Authority to ensure each pupil receives the tailored support they deserve. Whether your child is joining our Key Stage 1 Generic Unit or, our Key Stage 2 Cognition and Learning Unit, you can be confident that they will be welcomed into a caring community that values their individuality and celebrates their achievements.

Our Specialist Education Units are a Local Authority maintained provision. This means that admissions are managed in partnership with the Local Authority, rather than directly by the school.  If you have questions about the admissions process, or would like to discuss your child’s needs, we encourage you to contact the Local Authority’s Special Educational Needs (SEN) team for guidance.
