Term dates
Teachers are contracted to work (in school) for 195 days per year, 5 days of which are designated as whole school Professional Development days (PD Days). ** Following the death of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II, the Government have declared an additional bank holiday on Monday 19th September 2022, to respect the day of her funeral.
As an Academy, Sidegate is able to increase the number of PD Days should the need arise, any extra days will be determined and/or agreed by the Active Learning Trust Board.
