At Sidegate we host two Specialist Education Units (SEU) for the Local Authority. The pupils in our unit classes all have Education, Health and Care Plans for a range of complex needs.
In most years, the pupils in the KS2 Unit are working at Pre-Key Stage Standards for English, Maths and Science and so do not sit the statutory SAT tests at the end of Year 6. These pupils are however on our school roll and so are included in all data published by the Department for Education.
The tables below show the results of our statutory assessments at the end of KS1 and KS2 without pupils from the SEU.
